On Saturday, August 27, 2016, Frankie’s Friends hosted their inaugural Seminole Heights Pup Crawl.
The firm sponsored the Pup Crawl for Frankie’s Friends and provided complimentary doggie bag containers.
Frankie’s Friends is a non-profit foundation dedicated to finding cures and saving pets with cancer and other life-threatening conditions.
Mr. McKinney was chosen as a member of the 2017 Leadership Tampa Bay Class.
Leadership Tampa Bay is a non-profit organization that is governed by an independent board of directors who live and work in various parts of the Tampa Bay region. The program is funded through tuition and sponsorships, and 100 percent of monies go toward programs for class members and alumni.
The McKinney Law Group recently joined the likes of Strategic Property Partners, The Vinik Family Foundation, and Premier Eye Care as a Silver level pARTner for the Tampa Bay Businesses for The Culture & The Arts.
One of the first of many charitable efforts made by the firm was the sponsoring of a Cultural Encounter held at DOXA Design Lab & Gallery in downtown Tampa featuring original artworks by the widely acclaimed and exceptionally talented Ya La’Ford.
Mr. Damien McKinney was chosen to be a member of the Legislation Committee of The Florida Bar Family Law Section.
The Committee drafts proposed legislation, lends its expertise to provide technical assistance and information to the Legislature to advance marital and family law, and monitors proposed legislation pertaining to or otherwise affecting marital and family law on behalf of The Florida Bar as a whole.
Mrs. Brittany Ealy – one of our legal assistants – is involved with the Are You Safe Purple Party planning committee for the 8th Annual Are You Safe Purple Party.
The 8th Annual Purple Party will be held at the Tampa Club on September 29th from 5:30PM to 8:00PM. This year is centered around raising awareness for domestic violence.

damien McKinney has participated as a member of the committee to elect Shelton Bridges as County Judge.
The firm also hosted a fundraising campaign at Mise En Place for Mr. Shelton Bridges who is running for County Court Judge, Group 10.
The firm supported The Debartolo Family Foundation and attended the White Hot Summer Nights gala.
The DeBartolo Family Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation created by the members of the Edward J. DeBartolo, Jr. family to benefit local communities. The Foundation annually awards scholarships to high school students, provides school supplies to local teachers, adopts Bay Area families during the holidays, provides grants to organizations with exceptional requirements and presents the Spirit of Humanity Award, honoring local non-profit, grass roots organizations.
